Adam S. Eterovich was born in San Francisco, CA and his people came from the Island of Brac, Dalmatia, Croatia.  His family has been in San Francisco since 1860.  Adam attended the public school systems of San Francisco and graduated from San Francisco State University, as well as doing Graduate Studies in Croatia.  Adam is also a American Korean War Volunteer, reaching Sergeant Rank in the US Army.  He is also a member of the California Historical Society, the Croatian Mutual Benevolent Society of San Francisco "Organized 1857" and a life long member of the Croatian Fraternal Union and Adam is also a well known writer and researcher of Croatians in America and has written and published many books and articles.  Adam's wife, Danica, was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia.  They married over 40 years ago in Zagreb at St. Mark's Church.
